General Information

Newport Montessori School in Newport, NH is in session for Pre-K and Kindergarten students from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. on Friday. NMS is in session from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday for Lower Elementary students.

Children who are three years old (occasionally, nearly three) at the start of the school year are enrolled for five mornings. Children five years old (in their Kindergarten year) are enrolled Monday through Thursday for the full day and for Friday morning only. Parents of the four year olds may choose either the morning option or (with the concurrence of the teachers) the full day option for their children. Children who are enrolled in Lower Elementary (grades one, two, three, or four) attend Monday through Friday for the full day; Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:30 one Friday each month.

The Newport Montessori School admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
