OUR TEACHERS

Our School is comprised of a talented staff of Montessori &  state-certified professionals.  The school employs 10 classroom teachers, 4 specialists and works with numerous special educators.

Our goal is to create a warm, open environment where students feel safe enough to ask questions, explore and seek answers.  We challenge every student to surpass his or her own personal best and help them over the hills and through the valleys of these growing years.  Newport Montessori is particularly proud of its diversity and takes every opportunity to celebrate those characteristics that make us different.  We welcome all who come through our door.

Happy Summer 2020!

Our summer office hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings 8:30- mid afternoon.

We are now accepting preliminary enrollment applications for the 20-21 school year.  You may call or email to request a packet and/or to set up a tour of our campus.

Newport Montessori has just completed (9/1/18)  our lead tap monitoring program per SB247.  We are pleased to report that all of our testing has come back lead free. Schools and child care centers are required to test every faucet/water fountain where students may get drinking water.  For Newport Montessori School we tested 14 faucets.

In compliance with Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act regulations 40 CFR 763, Subpart E (AHERA), the Newport Montessori School is required to notify parents, teachers, and all other building occupants that an Asbestos Management Plan (AMP) is available to them in the school main office.  If you require more detailed information, please call the school, and staff will direct your inquiry to the District’s designated person for asbestos information.
